The scratch is fairly deep and long, it needs to be sanded a bit then touched up and touch up paint as we all know never really looks quite as good as sprayed on new paint

Thanks Brandon!

That would be great, I could run over there at any time since my schedule is pretty open.

The dealer might have it in their tech shop, but not for sale since it's an older model TL.

Plus I"ve driven to Salem 3 times last week, I'm sick of it. haha.

lol, very true. But if I come to Beaverton you have to come hang out so it's not a waste.

I hear ya on checking for one at the dealership, but that would just be a waste for me, my friend is going to next day air or 2nd day the wheel lock and I have another car to drive around in the mean time.

I would just tow it to a shop to have it fixed, but I already paid $218 to tow it to Amity, and it would be another $100 something to tow it into Mcminnville.

Bonk might have a wheel lock so I'll probably head over there to him tonight so I can get it in driving condition to get the wheel fixed.

I'm kind of mad now that I didn't have a chain install my tires (I did them myself) now I have to pay for the damn patch, lol.

I really didn't think I had a flat, I just thought the road was shitty. It was when I looked at my steering wheel and it was sideways and the car was going straight is when I realized something was wrong, the damn tire was almost on fire too because I drove it on for quite a few miles at 60.

THANKS OTHER DRIVERS FOR NOT FLASHING OR FLAGGING ME DOWN!!!! AND THANK YOU TO THE OTHER 60 DRIVERS WHO JUST STARRED AT ME AND DROVE BY!!!!

I hope it is. I couldn't really tell since I couldn't get the car lifted up. I'll find out the condition in 2 days when my wheel lock gets here.

I have some pictures on the site, but I'll find them and post them here.

Yeah seriously. There was even a person driving right behind me for a few miles, I know he had to see it since the road was slightly curving at some points.

This was a few years back when I lived in Texas, I no longer have the exhaust and paint no longer is defect free )=

Here are a few pictures before I moved from California, I added JDM window visors and a CF mugen rep spoiler.

pretty kick ass color, so is it like super dark green? LOL I have the same problem as your cf trunk lip, I notice the wing isnt flight at the tip, like the tape isnt thick enough. I think I had to add extra tape to the two end links to make it flush with the center. Man you must have a collection of license plates, texas, california and now oregon.

Don't forget Washington =p

Car was purchased by us at the end of 99 in Seattle when we lived there.

Honestly with the visors, it's hit or miss.

I have always searched for them and was never able to find them, but one night I jumped onto ebay and happened to see them up there, so I made an offer and got em.

nice, I need to keep an eye out for them cause I loved them when I had it on my previous cars but then again they were black cars. I think I'm safe on a silver car since my windows are dark.

lol, that came about when I had to remove my rear view mirror.

On my year TL it was a common problem that the chemicals that worked the autodim would give-way and rupture the mirror. I had to take the mirror off when this happened before it blew inside of my car, and it took them damn near 2 months to send me a new mirror under their warranty.

So I just left it as demirroed, haha.

So finally gave into the hype bout clay...was out buyin some car detail stuff n it was cheap so I said eff it and bought some.

Clay KICKS ASS!! Spent about 4 hours yest on the exterior and took off so much nasty stubborn stuff that never wanted to come off before. Hit a piece of tire a few weeks ago after some big rig's tire blew right in front of me and it left black ish on one of the sides. After some work..completely gone. All I can say is WOW! My shoulder is a lil sore from wetsandin the headlights and claying but so worth it. Meguiar's 2.0 wax is most def the shit. PlastX didn't really clear the headllights up all the way but then I hit em with my polisher that had some wax on it and bam..new headlights. Even cleared up my mom's Voyager's nasty ass headlights.

All in all..very productive car day yesterday. Just wish I could go out and show it off instead of go to work

Anyone here need some ceiling fans?

My new place doesnt have junction boxes that support the fans i had at my apartment so these need to go.

Both are Harbor Breeze, one light wood blades, and the other is a dark wood blade. The light wood one has a light on it, the dark does not.

They are a year old, no ticking, no wobbles.

Looking to sell for 75$ for both.

Any car parts place should have it. I picked mine up at Wal-Mart when I was down there gettin some oil..it's a purple box and says Tech 2.0 in giant letters on the front. Worked really well. But spend a lotta time on the sanding. I used 800, 1000, 2000 grit, 5 mins with each on each headlight and got the things damn near perfect smooth. Then the wax did its magic.

I have a compressor and gun, but the paint I bought from Napa paint department in beaverton. They sell you the paint supply and you mix it before you paint. Pretty much the same process as any auto body shop will do for you. Same thing as a clear, the clear you have to mix as well but lemme tell you, this will obviously beat out any rattle can, any time of the day. I still have to sand it out a little but my lip looks better then the rest of the car cause I cleared it like no other. I'll let you know when I get a chance to spray my mugen trunk spoiler, I just rattled can that for now.
