Yup^
I was like I know a guy that sold his hardtop
Only convertible car I like is S2k... in that case, I wouldn't run a hardtop if I lived in FL and owned a S2k
Screw S2k, let's talk about C7
I got inside the car... first thing that went through my had was... "I wasn't expecting it to be this different and amazing"
That wide narrow windshield and long ass hood was the first thing that pulled my attention.
Hood looks sooooo good from the interior.
And then of course the sounds That exhaust is just perfect. No way to describe it.
While cruising on highway, he took it to eco mode and exhaust got quiet at that second
Interior is beyond German to be honest Those secreens and lightings, buttons and etc were rich
Gald you bought it Steven. I mean really a car that should be kept. Has a character.
Glad to see you as well, meet was great, everything was fantastic. Thanks Steven!!!
Hopefuly see you next year with Rocket Bunny kit on BRZ may be

And thanks for the kudos on the Stingray. It's was fun giving you a ride in her!
Next year, it's a road trip in the BRZ, for sure.

I've added more this afternoon to the Stingray..
First, I've added a C7 Crossed Flags logo in between the seats. The convertible has this, so I just purchased a rear logo and added it between the seats!
[
My big addition is the American Car Craft Carbon Fiber door sill frame!
These are easily installed, but you have one chance and one chance only because of the 2-sided 3M tape on the back. I like these a lot because of the Carbon Fiber. But it also give dimensionality to the door sills. They look great with the door open because of the Carbon Fiber side skirts (from Lashway Motorsports). I opted for the non-illuminated Carbon Fiber door sill frames.
I also got some wall art for Father's Day!

I think the wall art will look like teh tits on the side of teh car
I like the rear logo in the middle of the 2 seats...not sure on the CF door sill overlay...i kinda liked the OEM one more...here is a reminder of the pic we took
DSC_0740 by Anil Sadhwani, on Flickr
and dont mod the car to a point that when I 'take' it from you I have to demod it

Looking at it again, I like the cf but just don't dig the chrome one bit...if I wanted chrome inserts, I would go buy a Chrysler and not a Corvette

I forgot to add one more thing to the list of new mods.
I had the fuel rails painted by RPI back in October 2013. But if I wanted to have the Stingrays airbrushed on there, it was an up charge. Today, I went over to the dealership and bought 2 Stingray logo's for the side of the car for $35 for the pair. I put them on the fuel rails! It was a heck of a lot cheaper than having them airbrushed on!

Steven, you're going to need to start running your ideas by Anil and I. You're starting to get badge crazy and it's going to look cluttered and overdone. Remember, there's a fine line between it looking classy and looking like you're the clueless guy that is just buying every single bling for the car and slapping it on!
I can get used to the door sills, I agree with Anil on the added chrome not being my favorite, but the carbon part of it is cool since it goes with your theme. I am not a huge fan of the emblem between the seats, mainly because it's on carpet, for some reason, I'm assuming it's hard plastic there on the convertible? And the stingray emblems on the engine covers look gaudy and forced since they're raised. Just my opinion, but what do I know...
Overall, as usual, the car looks fkng awesome and I still break my neck to look at them every time I see one.

Hi from Las Vegas, guys!
Hey, the crossed flags are not noticeable unless you look rearwards. And originally, I was going to have the Stingrays airbrushed on the fuel rails. I saw them done with the Stingrays from the side. I saved myself $100 by using the emblems from the side.
The chrome does not stand out-you DO notice the Carbon Fiber and the 2 dimensional depth to the door sills now.
I'm done with the engine bay and everything else for the most part. Now time to drive it and enjoy.
But the next mods, I'm calling Jeremy and Anil......

Hey...as we always preach, as long as YOU'RE happy!
Hahah...seriously though...drop that red text. Text me or PM me with any future ideas...we'll let you know if it's dumb. Well, you can let Anil know and when he tells you he isn't sure he can then contact me to let him know to let you know.
Although the current state of his car does say he's come a long way and he has great style now.

No, it was a serious question, Steven. They look SUPER similar and I'm hoping you didn't wrap anything in your 70K sports car with that cheap shit. The key would be fine, in my book.
If I ship anything, it would be myself so be home for a delivery signature confirmation for a six foot box that smells of Drakkar and farts and weighs about two thirdee.

Actually, I thought that picture was pretty darn good........
LOL....Jeremy, if the box stinks of farts, do I get to reject the delivery????
Actually, everything on this Stingray is the real deal carbon fiber. As a matter of fact, tomorrow the "Waterfall" is getting installed. That is the piece behind the arm rest. And yes, it's real Carbon Fiber. Also getting installed (in real Carbon Fiber) are the plates on the passenger door that cover the window switch and the Lock/Unlock buttons.
I have ordered a NEW Flat Bottom steering wheel. "What, what?", you say? Well, when I went to Bloomington Gold last weekend, the guy who makes all my Carbon Fiber pieces had a BEAUTIFUL Carbon Fiber flat-bottom steering wheel. As of today, I've sold my current steering wheel. It will take 2 months for my new wheel to arrive.

Tyler, I saw it in person and couldn't pass it up. Luckily, I've sold my current flat-bottom steering wheel today! The buyer is in no hurry-even sent me a down-payment via PayPal. My new wheel should be in in about 7-8 weeks!
At that point, the interior will be entirely trimmed in Carbon Fiber, a la Ferrari and/or Lamborghini. Not everything is carbon fiber, just smartly trimmed with the dash, center console and waterfall. Add the door trims (window switches) on both doors and anything more will be too much.
