Acura TSX - 6MT w/ Navi, 43k miles, Supercharged! @Stamford, CT@

Year: 2006

Color: Silver/Black
Location (State/Prov): CT

1. Price: $20k
2. Mileage: 43k
3. Color, Transmission-auto or manual, Navi: manual, Navi
4. Reason for selling: looking to get into a higher performance car
5. Location: (Also, please enter the location of the car in the thread title.) Stamford, CT
6. Pictures: (see below)
7. Are you the first owner? If not, how many owners were there (to the best of your knowledge)? yes, first owner
8a. Title is clean/clear/rebuilt/salvage/if other, explain further (select one): clean
8b. Do you have title in hand or it is being held by a lienholder: title in hand

I've given this alot of thought and I decided to offer up my beloved TSX up for sale. At this point, I rarely drive it (put 3k miles on it in the past 15 months) so I'd like to move to another car with higher performance potential. Coincidentally, I found the car I'm looking for and I can't justify owning 3 cars (I have a VW Tiguan for the winter).

The price of this car is $22,000 obo (no trades). I am willing to accept reasonable offers, but low ballers will not receive a response. The car is fully paid off (title in hand) and in immaculate condition. I don't even drive it in the rain, let alone snow. Including the price of the car, I have invested over $70k into it so I'm looking to get around 1/3 of that back.

Additionally, I have two sets of wheels that I use with this car but only one of them will be included at this price. However, the buyer can choose either set.

To confirm, I will not be parting this car out. I put too much time and effort into it to see it dismantled and put back to stock. I want to sell it to someone who will appreciate as much as I have these past 6 years.

You can either PM me or e-mail me at dayta02@yahoo.com

Thanks for looking!

that car is super sexy man. dont know about the price though. I dont see anyone paying anywhere near 25k for it considering what you can get for that much. You'd prolly be better parting it out you'd make more

I respect your opinion, but I disagree. I can't think of any other car for sale that's as fully built out and with as many quality parts for $25k.

Considering the car stock can fetch at least $15-16k (given its relatively low miles), I think it's not outrageous to ask for an additional $9-10k for the parts and work I've put in. My dyno graph is identical in both output (to the wheels) and power under the curve to an E92 M3 (350whp/267wtq). There isn't one part of the car that hasn't been upgraded, which is actually why I'm moving on. Looking for my next money pit .

WOW What a beautiful, extremely well modded car! If I was going to build a 1st gen, this is exactly what I would do. Good luck with the sale!

wow, man, that is the cleanest modded tsx i have seen.

and yes you are correct about not finding a modded tsx out there fully but there is some that are modded with super charger going fro $12k-16 but does have a lot more miles then you but again, when modding you never get what you paid, unless you part it out.

well i want to wish you the best, i would love to take this car but by even selling mine, i wouldnt be able to come up with that money.

Thanks for the kind words. I know there have been a few other S/Ced TSXs going in that range, but as you said my car is as complete as can be. The stereo components and work alone cost me $8-9k about a year ago...

To that point, if anyone was really interested in the car I could put the stock stereo back in and drop the price a few $k. Let me know, people.

Don't want to jinx saying what it is before I sell my car, but I'll just say it's within the same family

Sorry for the crappy iPhone pic, but here's the new box that was built for the water/meth reservoir. IMO, it gives the trunk a much classier appearance.

If anyone is interested, I can swap the upgraded stereo components for OEM and drop the price to $22k.

Let me know .

Honestly, I've driven it less than 1k miles in the past year so there is no mileage update to give .

This is yet another reason why I feel like the car is going to waste. Shoot me some offers!

Final price drop:

$22k for everything!

If I can't sell the car at this price, I'm just going to keep it.

In case anyone wanted confirmation of the dyno results, figured I should post this:

Derek Robinson @ IMW, one of the best K-Pro tuners out there, can confirm these numbers.

The price caught me off guard a bit. I'm not sure there's a dealer that could sell a stock/cpo version of that car with that mileage for $22k. Then I scrolled down to the pics, and this thing is very tastefully done with care and quality. I still think the price is too high given the age and amount of modifications. That said, you've done a fine job with it. Good luck!

I respect your opinion but I disagree about it being priced too high. I have modified every aspect of the car to transform it into a very well-balanced car (most people focus solely on performance vs aesthetics vs ICE). There is no area of the car that overshadows/overpowers another.

Additionally, the parts I have used are either of the highest quality or custom-made specifically for my car. For example, you will not find another TSX with my header-back exhaust system, my aftercooler set up, or the stereo set up in my trunk.

I have spent over $40k in mods on the car, and considering the trade-in value is still at $15-16k I don't think an extra $6k is too much to ask for the amount of additional time and money I've put into the car.

Pic of the MS-8 controller installed into the dash. Color combo matches the silver trim almost perfectly.

The red "missile" switch activates the water pump for the heat exchanger of the aftercooler. I just thought it looked cool .

Pic of the center stack and AEM gauges built into the "Not An Ashtray" cubby.

You can also get a better view of the LED strips installed in the foot wells.

Aside from that, the interior is pretty much bone stock because I wanted to keep the OEM look.

There is very little wear on the seats. Because it's always been my weekend car, I can count the times I've had passengers in the car on one hand .
