My TSX was stolen out of my driveway in Flushing Queens.
it was a 2013 white TSX licence plate GEH 9026.

how would it work and how much i would be loosing out on
the car is 2 month old. bought it brand new. insured by Geico.

wow crazy to hear that happened! was it stick or auto? i taught it would be hard to steal these with the keys being chipped the way they are!!

do u have any parking tickets? its crazy now because theyll tow your car (you or whoever the car or cars are registered under) if you owe more then 150$ in tickets in NYC

Did you leave your keys in the car?

I would imagine Geico would give you the purchase price given the car is only 2 months old.

 

The city nor the sheriff can enter a property to tow a car assuming the gate was closed. however if the driveway is not gated they can pull up and hook and book but most of the time they'll be so loud you'd hear them and go out to the car. It could've been a body shop tow truck... them dudes be stealing cars left and right. and if they had go jacks you ain't hearing shit.

You're insurance should cover it for full value of the car, they probably won't cover the purchase price of the car since the minute the car leaves a dealership lot the value drops a bit. But you should also have Gap insurance too don't you and did you get lojack too?!
