Yummy - While the F355 may not be the fastest Ferrari out there, it certainly is my favorite. Ive been in love with that car since I first laid eyes on it.

I've said this before but in case anyone missed it, one of my best friends has a black F355 Berlinetta 6MT which I've driven a couple times. and I mean to like redline and stuff. beautiful!

Have driven both F360 and F430 with the F1 transmission in them to the redline and it is just amazing. I could barely get out of second gear though because second gear on the F430 at least at redline has you going over 80mph.

 

I wound that 355 up well into 3rd. I also drove a F360 6MT once. Here's how it went down. I was out at a track day with friends at Gingerman raceway (Michigan) in the summer of 2007. One of the guys in the group (that I only met that day) had a silver 360, and he had raced it all day. Since I'd raced Gingerman several times in the past, I was giving some tips and pointers to the new guys (like 360 guy) here and there, and also took some laps in a Chrysler Crossfire someone had rented (what a POS!). Anyways after the racing was over, we were getting ready to leave the track to get some grub. The F360 dude throws me his keys and says "wanna drive? I'm tired". I'm like "uh, SURE!", trying to keep my composure and stop the mile-wide grin I was feeling inside from appearing on my face (I was successful, lol). So we were driving around in town, man that car was smooth. There was a point where we were stopped at the crest of a fairly steep hill, at a stop sign. That was a bit stressful because I had to ease this car out and over it without killing or over-revving it, with traffic around us. Thankfully was able to. I didn't get to go too fast in it but it made me want to buy one.

here it is btw - you can see the Crossfire to the left, lol. Also my buddy with the black GT3 wrecked that car later that year at Road America I believe it was he is a novice driver, and RA (or any other track, IMO) is no place for a novice to be racing in a GT3:

I don't think its accurate to call this a car.... its like, I dunno, a type of land transport. or something. its like, art. moving art. like a moving art exhibit. ok ill shaddup now

 

I agree. When I watched that video of it in the other thread, I kept looking at everything and thought to myself "they really went for the design first, then made it very functional". Its an amazing car. Ive always loved how Paganis had a very elegant design to them. And that noise
