Need some insight, I'm looking at buying a 2005 MDX non-touring but want to add the roof rack. I've seen them advertised on but wanted to know if anyone has installed them themselves and how difficult was it. Thanks

 

I have a touring and the roof rack came with it but here is a link to instructions on how to add the roof rack:

Doesn't seem to hard at all. The only you thing you actually have to modify or cut it the weather moldings. The file in that link will give you exact measurements on everything you need to do. Worse comes to worse and you mess up the weather moldings they are pretty cheap to replace. The OEM Acura roof rack can be had for well under $200.

I'm interested in adding the roof rack to my 08. Anyone have instructions for the 07+ or know if it is similar enough to the instructions above?

need BOLTS for OEM MDX roof rack / MDX has channel that the rubber is in, take rubber out put bolt in.
any one have a line on the bolts ?
