Just replaced a majority of the audio in the TL-S at the Car Toys down there last weekend. They did a really good job, sounds awesome.

 

Very nice! I'll have to check it out. Been trying to decide if i want to upgrade my speakers in mine.

 

The stock system sucked big time IMO. The sound quality was alright but I had that thing turned all the way up to as high as it goes and I could barely hear it. Maybe I am going deaf or something, but I wasen't very impressed.The stock speakers are actually pretty high quality, but the amp is shit.

I think I could have gotten away with just upgrading the stock amp and putting my subs from my old CL in there, but I figured I was already there might as well replace it all .

Only thing that sucks is they had to disconnect the VSA system because the mics for the system were picking up sound and being amplified through the speakers, other than that was smooth sailing.

 

Yeah i know the stock setup is not the best, i just dont know if or when i will want to spend the money on the setup i want. I've been into car stereo's as long or longer than Honda's and i want all higher end JL since my friend sells it at his shop.

Got the windows tinted this afternoon just in time for the meet! Everyone is on here is right, WDP looks 1000 times better with tint on it.

Tint looks better on any car. When in doubt go darker.
What percent did you go with?

 

Went 20%. I dont like going with darker than that.

Souljah, loved your car. Sorry i didnt get to talk to you guys more before some of you left. Few of us ended up eating at P.F. Changs after the meet by park meadows before i headed back to NE.

Not a problem, i enjoy doing it. Just funny im from out of state and get things together in CO. But hey its worked for a few years now.

Feel free to hit me up whenever. I dont like shotty work done and i feel they didnt take their time on your car when installing your stereo and took the easy way out on the fix.
