My friend bought a dozen of those clear insulated starbucks cups (they look like the regular starbucks cups that you get with cold drinks) for ~$15 / each.. she is selling them locally on CL for $50. unbelievable.. she sold all of them in one week.. So $50 for the canon mug seems like a good deal in comparison.

By the time they're done with the manufacturing run, this will NOT be a collector's item.

And when you have it in your hand, it doesn't feel like its worth $50 or even $30.

Its plastic. If not as if its a stainless steel mug. I'd love to have one, but I think buyers remorse would set in after droping $50. Meh, its only money I guess.
