so i've been deciding which rims to get and this decision has been killing me. whether to go a JDM more aggressive look, or more of a VIP look.
my two choices of rims are

18x9.5 +15 MB battle rims in Bronze



here is another tl on the forum that has this set up but with 17's (-stickwidit-)


in my opinion this set up looks dope as eff... especially with bronze on white to make the jdm look amazing.


but then again I could go the more expensive route and get 18x9 +20 VS-XX
(not really feeling the gold with white, even though it would be ideal) but id prefer either burning black or chrome

btw.. vs-xx is way more.. "JDM" than mb battles... lol.. if anything.. mb battles is nothing near JDM

oh yeah, i forgot it was tim's haha just clicked on the pictures in Chuthis's thread. haha but yeah i know the MB battles are kinda cheap from discount tires and such but i really like the concavity and low offset. UNLESS the VS-XX has even a crazier width and offset it could do both but that would be at least 2 grand easy lol.

 

if i had a 3G.. i would def run those vs-xx and get a 3 perch coilover.. not basics...

you can always search other forums for wheels too.. sometimes, they are cheaper than what people list here.. hehe

 

work is 100% JDM.

 

I'd go with work for your car.

Battles are wack, get Advan T7 if you want that look

 

lol at people who think a rim is wack because of the brand...as long as it doesn't have quality issues, looks nice, and is somewhat light, I could care less what brand it is.
