Trunk lid falls, won't stay open

Need some help, please! Rear wing put on by previous owner makes trunk lid fall... Read how to move/reposition trunk tension springs quite a few months ago, but now can't locate the info. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks...

speaking of trunks. There are these two thin bars that are on the roof of the trunk. There is the body colored bracket that holder them apart and mine has seem to come off and rattles and moves around..anyone know what the heck actually fastened that bracket down because all I see is two holes on the bracket that looked like sheet metal screws were there...

It was welded on. The welds break. Common problem. You can drill 2 small holes to line up with the holes on the bracket & use 2 small sheet metal screws to reattach.
