Yokohoma Envigor vs Michelin Primacy MXV4

I am needing new tires (205 60r 16) for my 2002 Acura Tl.

The current tires on the car are Yokohoma YK520 91H. They are 60,000 mile tires and I only have about 30,000 to 32,000 miles on them and they need replaced.

I am looking at the Yokohoma Avid Envigor 92V or the Michelin Primacy MXV4 92H.

Both are highly rated by Tire Rackin their tire class High Performance all Season and Grand Touring All Season.

The majority of the miles driven are highway.

Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Primacys will last 60+ and are really quiet. I'm on my second set.

I had the Primacy's when I bought my TL. Got the Yok's when I needed a new set. Much cheaper and IMHO just as good. I've had Yokohamas on almost all of my cars, and never had a problem with them.
The Michelin's might be a little quieter, but I think the Yok's handle a little better.

Michelins are good, quiet, long-lasting tires, but if you drive in snow country, you could do a lot better for winter grip.

That said, I'm using Yokos and Falkens on our Hondas with great success...

I've had both sets also. I am a pretty aggressive driver and found the primacy's a little soft, but great on the highway. I now have the yoko's and love them. I feel they are better in water and also handle better wet or dry. I have noticed slightly less understeer as well. The Yoko's aren't as quiet as the Primacy's, but aren't intruding at any speed.

I have the Yokohoma Avid HS4 on my car. Very nice tires. Quiet and comfortable.
