Drivers's side headlight flickering

Drivers's side headlight flickering
I could use some advice before calling the dealer.
My drivers's side headlight sometimes flickers until it goes out. It happens a lot when making a sharp turn. If I turn the headlights off for a minute or two, turn them on, the headlight comes back on.
I had the assembly, bulb, and ballast replace (non factory) about a year ago.
Thoughts?

Start with: When parked facing a light colored wall like a garage door- turn lights on
Any pink or purple tint to either at first? thats a bulb death warning
light goes off driving and comes on when you cycle the switch- there is a current thread on this- appears to be ballast related but until several of us fix it- cant be sure
Doesnt appear to be any bulb issues on those cars reporting the sudden Off condition
flicker is often the ballast- what brand did you buy?
see youtube for many vids of HID flikker or flicker and compare to yours
search internet and sellers of HID parts talk about this prob

Ballast, would my first guess. OE runs about $190, I've replaced one already, (headlight would not come on, thought it was the bulb but that was replaced before the ballast went out, tried another bulb I had and "no joy", Lucky it wasnt the ignitor after dropping the money for the ballast and another new bulb). The ignitor could could cause a problem too but not probably considering your symptoms listed.
