Got this idea from another forum, but thought you guys would like it here too.
The year is 1984.
Its track day.
Pick a car manufactured between 1971 and 1984 to take to the track.
Easy mode: Italian/German
Medium mode: Japanese
Hard mode (if you don't know your cars) : American
Gentlemen, its first come first serve at the grid and there are only 30 spots here today at Laguna Seca.
Here's my pick what's yours:

This is hard. I realize there wasnt much in the era in which i would pick. Kinda makes me think we are blessed with what cars are on the market today.
BMW M1 then. Or more reasonable, the Audi Quattro.

One of my favorite cars from high school....was in 10th and 11th grade during 1984. I lived in Germany during all of high school and was all about the German cars then.

at Ken1997TL's pick that was funny. And Mattg, that was my dream car when I was like 5-6yr old. My step-uncle had a poster of a Countach in his bedroom and at that age I had never seen anything like it.

I didnt know this fell in that time period 
See I know classics, but I dont know them. I wanna read about them though. Its just keeping up with todays and futures cars is already a handful, and not having the luxury of being alive when those cars came out is just a hassle.

I wasn't being a smart ass though. I figured a 2900-3000 lb short wheel base car with a v8 would be a kick to drive (slightly modified if I can). Plus parts for a 14 year old car that was produced nearly a decade should be dirt cheap if I break anything. If it weren't for the easymode /hard mode thing I would be looking at a 2002 or early 3 series.
