XM Radio ID help

I just got a new TL last Friday. I had XM in my last car so I need to move from one radio ID to the new one. I have two questions. Do they just add the 3 months on to my current subscription and two how the hell do I get the radio ID. I looked in the manual and it set to hold the right side tune till to channel 0. I tried this and it did not work. I also tried voice command. It seems as if tune only goes a few numbers down. Not sure what I need to do. Sorry if this has been covered. I searched but could not find the answer. And I do have the tech package if it matters.

Your radio ID is on channel 0 (zero) on the XM system. Just turn to XM radio, then use the skip button to scroll to channel zero. I did the same as you regarding the subscription 3G to 4G XM, they added the months on to my existing subscription.

Make SURE you call XM, & tell them that you're adding a NEW 3 month trial. The did NOT automatically, add mine. Most of the CSR's, are brain dead, over there. It took me 4 tries, before I reached someone, who could activate, my Weather, & Traffic, channels.

Yea the guy told me on the the phone the unit was not capable of weather. I guess I need to call back again. So frustrating. Does the 3 month free include all three music, weather and traffic?

Yes, the XM/Sirius customer service is a joke. So is corporate America with customer service. Stay on them like flies on shit, and make them work for you. In case you didn't know, you also have the ability to stream XM from a computer! When I'm not driving the TL, I stream XM around the house with laptops and in the theatre. It sounds like crap but it's a service that were paying for so I'm gonna use it to the tilt!

I thought the streaming ability was not an extra charge.
