Galaxy S3

Question -- I have had a lot of trouble getting my contacts from my Droid -- a Galaxy S3 -- imported into my 2012 TL Tech. It only picks a few, not my entire address book. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thank you!

Did you let it sync completely?

I have an AT&T GS3 running Jelly Bean and it if I remember correctly I had to give permission for the contacts to transfer through a prompt on the phone. Mine transferred pretty fast but I only have about 100 contacts. Have you tried deleting the phone on the TL-HFL and the HFL bloutooth connection on the GS3 and then running the complete setup again? Mine just worked....

ive been using android based phones for a while, a HTC mytouch4g and now a Samsung Galaxy note 2, make sure ur contacts are on the phone and not the SIM, and make sure that ur phone settings are reflecting the same.

click on the dialer icon, go to contacts, hit the menu button, and scroll down to contacts to display, click on all contacts or your gmail account (if you imported all your contacts into your gmail). and now try syncing again.

My note 2 was doing that as well. I found out that gmail saved every single email contact I have ever emailed and caused the car to not like this. It can only handle so many contacts. So I went into gmail and cleared out all those emails and synced the phone agin with gmail. Once that was done I pushed the contacts back to the car and it worked!

I was having a lot of problems getting my Galaxy S3 to work in my 4g TL. I called Acura handsfree link assistance and they told me what to do. Seems there was a menu that kept popping up when the car was updating the phone's directory. If you answer the menu the right way, the phone works fine. If not, the phone is continuously linking and unlinking itself, which is very frustrating. Call
1 888 528 7876.

And a hat's off to my Acura dealer salesman, Dan Damon at Curry Acura in Scarsdale, NY for giving me this number.
