Maguire's Polish & Wax

I've been using Maguires Polish (step2) and wax (step3) with great results. I will be waxing again in a few days and was wondering if i can put the polish on over the coat of wax that i have. Or should I just add a coat of wax.

If you are referring to the step two of the Meguiars Deep Crystal system, since it is an abrasive polish I would assume it would remove the wax (step 3) you currently have on the car, this is what I do not understand about the Meguiars system, so you better call them.

I thought you werent supposed to use polish very often because of its abrasive properties. i think you are just supposed to wax again and maybe polish in two or three months. somone verify this please b/c i am also using the step 2, 3 system.

i sent an email to meguires and this is what they said:

Thank you so much for your e-mail. You cannot use the polish on top of the wax as it will strip the wax. You will have to polish first and then wax. If you think the car is in great shape and you don't feel like doing both steps then yes, just go ahead and wax. I hope this will be helpful for you.

there you go!
