Dealer Invoice Price in Canada
TL no-Navi C$ 37,536.
TL with Navi = C$ 40,480.
Freight and PDI is C$950. You can negotiate the dealer markup, most will accept C$500. Mine did
Good luck to all looking to buy a 2004/05 TL. It is a spectacular automobile.

I paid the dealer $500 over invoice, which is what I believe fleet buyers get. You might not get that kind of deal on an '05, but you will likely on an '04 about now.
I got my info from an acquaintance who works at Honda Canada.
good luck, let me know how you make out. if you are in the Toronto area, I can recommend the dealer for you.

The 44K price is the MSRP, which is the manufacture suggested raping price. The invoice is what the car ACTUALLY cost without dealers losing money. if you paid 44k for it, it just mean that the dealers and salesmen together got $4000 richer =o

The U.S Dollar is Worth about .32 cents more... compared to the Canadian Dollor...
37,536 canada = 28,509 U.S
40,480 canada = 30,744 U.S
Gmoneyr1 you dont save money by coming down to the U.S ...

The strategy in negotiating with a dealer is simple - you walk in and tell the salesperson that you are interested in the car, and that you KNOW what the invoice price is to the dealer. Make an offer to purchase/lease at $500 over invoice and BE SERIOUS. Salespeople will not play ball if they think you are trying to jerk them around. The salesperson will invariably go to the business manager to confirm the deal, but the whole thing can easily take less than 20 minutes. The key is to be prepared to do the deal at THAT MOMENT.
This worked for me, and I hope you have success with it as well. Again, I reiterate that the TL is a spectacular automobile, and I dont regret choosing it for a single minute.

I'm thinking of getting a 2004 TL NAVI in the next couple of weeks.
Do you guys recommend sending out a fax to the various dealerships and ask for their lowest price or just go into my favourite dealer and ask for invoice + $500?
Would they normally take less for PDI as well?
I'm not an experienced car buyer as the last car I purchased was in 1995!
BTW, I'm in Vancouver. If anyone received an awesome price from a dealership recently, please let me know where and from whom.
Thank you.
