Actually, a guy was going to sell me a an genuine set brand new in the box for the same price. These lights are not that expensive Plus paying with Paypal you are guaranteed the item posted or you can filed a dispute and get a full refund! That's why I pulled the trigger.

I just ordered a set, and he threw in the Spirior badges for me too, all OEM.
The seller was very good in communications and answered all my questions. My set of taillights set me back $600, I am not complaining at all.
They arrive Christmas, I will report back for sure and if this is a legit and good seller like I think, maybe we can start hitting him up for stuff

the grille is a chinese knockoff.
the lights are MADE IN CHINA for the CHINESE car market.
spirior is a joint venture of honda and dongfeng.
thats why the lights are relatively cheap.
I would bet you are going to get REAL dongfeng/honda tails made in china. the whole car is made in china. the drivetrain and design are japanese. but the easy cheap parts are CHINESE/

I exchanged quite a few e-mails with mr_jdm_import. His communication skills are very good and responded very promptly. I tried to get him to lower the shipping cost but as someone said, it's not necessarily that shipping cost that much, he rather not pay 3% or whatever the eBay commission is on the full value of the lights. So he charges less for the lights and more for shipping. I've seen items on eBay for $0.01 and $50 shipping.
The best he could do is ship it to a friend in HK for $500 AUD all in. That's only $130 AUD savings and not worth the hassle. In my opinion, if they're genuine Honda parts, they're worth that much. Even crappy knockoffs with four pieces sell for around $350 + shipping on eBay.
Anyway, waiting for someone to confirm that they're authentic then I'll buy.
On a separate note, why is the European version so much better than the North American version, or at least the Canadian version? There is no option for front parking sensors, headlight washers, let alone radar accident mitigation. I couldn't even get Navi is I wanted standard. So obviously, I chose standard over Navi.

I pulled the trigger and bought a set. Estimated delivery is all the way in mid January though. Hopefully they're genuine and they fit the TSX without customization. One think that for sure won't work is the rear fog light. Not sure if I can buy the Euro lights/fogs switch and swap it to get it to work. I doubt it.

I searched for a while on tsxclub and ozhonda without finding anything. Do you have the link to the posts about these mods? Are these headlight mods or tail light mods? If I have to buy some connectors I rather to it now until I get the lights. I also want to get LED bulbs for everything that is not LED. So I think turn signals, reverse, what else?

I will be getting my set after christmas, I will try to get some good pictures up and figure out what needs to be done.
as for rear foglight, I could just tap it into the front foglight circuit probably
or I bet I could clear the red out of it and make it a 2nd functional reverse light lol

As for clearing the red out, I don't think you can. You'd probably have to cut out the red plastic and replace it with a clear one. The lens itself is probably different too. I imaging the fog light is aimed high while the reverse lens is aimed low. I'd actually prefer to have a rear fog, to be honest, for those snowy days in Canada. But, I'd like to have it independent of the front fogs as I always have those on.

I am in Phoenix, the closest thing to fog I get is rain turning to steam on the hot asphalt lol.
I'll probably just set it as a reverse light to keep the symmetry somewhat at night

I'm still on the fence. I trust the seller and I believe these are in fact Honda parts. I'm just not confident in my ability to put them on or troubleshoot wiring problems. They would look amazing though. Wonder how much work these will take.
