Found A Good Interior Hiding Place for Cash, Keys, Etc.
I was changing out my foot pedals to aluminum ones (standard in the SE models), and popped out the dead pedal, held on by two clips with no tools required.
Behind the pedal is some decent space to store emergency items. I stashed some cash, a credit card, garage door key, emergency contact list, a few blank checks, and an expired driver's license.
When the need arises, I will probably forget what's there. But it sounded like a good idea today.

Car key or course.
Why would you think house key? You keep the house key under the potted plant in front of the house.

C'mon Crabs, keep up.
You use the key stashed in the dead pedal.

also why would you leave your house key OUTSIDE?!
I leave my spare house key just inside the front door where i have an indoor ficus. Keeps it safe and easy to access.

Ok, I'll spell it out for you. You would get into the car the same way you'd get into your house if your spare key was inside.
Smash the fucking window. Or call a locksmith. But that's no fun.

This is why I keep BOTH a house key and a car key inside a condom in my butt. This way I'm always prepared for any lockout!

Hi kixo,
I actually found your post informative. Soory for the derail. I'm going to check out my dead pedal this weekend; I'm assuming the autotragic version has the same style dead pedal. If there's enough room I'll probably put some throwin' stars or something.

LOL.... actually, I was just thinking the other day about posting a question about where's a good hiding place in these cars. I like to keep a couple of bucks hidden away for emergencies.

YOLO for a really long time and have to live with those decisions that impact other areas of my life.
I still say sand all metal surfaces and hit with muriatic acid to speed up the patina process, and buy some quality coilovers and slam that motherlover down low and put a stupid loud exhaust on it.
Because sometimes not caring, is the new balling.
