It would be so awesome if the Thunder beat the Heat, and KD got his first championship on his first try, unlike some other players in the NBA. I know it's not nice, but I'm rooting for yet another failure on a certain player, because I'll be going back to my life at the end of the day.
Speaking of another disappearing act, anyone see the Denmark-Portugal match today? Pretty awesome game, plenty of goals. Not sure why guys like Ronaldo and Messi do so well at the club level, and then vanish when playing for their country. Too much pressure maybe?
Anyhow, it's good to be back in the States and not have to stay up until 3 to watch the games.

Oh, my wife drove my car today while I trailed behind in the Camry. Damn, it's nice seeing your ride from that perspective. I always thought the Eibachs weren't low enough, but they actually look pretty low when viewed on the road.
If looking for new way to enjoy car, have friend drive while you trail behind in another.

hey guys, just a slightly random statement, drive safe out there. 5 minutes isn't worth your life. and road rage isn't either.
at about 9:45PM today, i left an ikea about 20 minutes away, taking an on ramp onto a road, route 17 south, and the first exit is onto rt 4, usually i go straight to 4 from ikea. as im coming off the ramp, i see 3-4 vehicles on the right side of the road with hazards on right after the entrance, i thought nothing of it as it seemed like a minor fender bender. then i swerved to avoid a large piece of debris on the road, and saw the wreckage in my rear view. i saw a pickup truck on its side, and a small fire right by it. i stopped on the shoulder, ran out of my car, and a lady from one of the cars on the side grabbed me asking me to call 911, i ignored her and asked each vehicle if anyone was hurt, they said no. i saw lights on the opposite side of the road and assumed someone already called police, i was running to the truck which was on its side when 2 police cars pulled out from the same entrance ramp as me with lights and sirens, yelled to one cop as he pulled up to me "fire!" and pointed, he jumped out and grabbed the fire extinguisher out of his trunk, and the other cop was following, i yelled after him asking if he had one too. he said its in the trunk, grab it. by the time i got it they basicly put out the fire, but i was helping the cops search the cars for any other victims, and clear a path for ambulance and more support to come through the traffic behind the accident. at this point, i caught sight of the body. a still body, no movement, appeared male, decapitated, 5 feet away from me. me and the officer exchanged the same look, and went to the truck to check it out. more crews arrived on scene, and emergency personnel had it covered. cop said you werent involved, you didn't see it happen, you can go. i told him goodluck and went to my car.
i have been wanting to be an EMT for several years now, and i actually start classes in july/august, but i have no formal training as of now. i was certified in CPR several years ago, and i know a good amound of first aid. my fathers a doctor, i love medicine, and im 19 in college studying Pharmacy. my instinct has always been to respond, to help, which is why i wanted to become an EMT. i had no idea how to help when i saw this, but i saw fire, i saw wreckage, and no help was on scene, some people were videotaping. i know CPR, basic medicine and critical care, and im strong so i thought i could help if someone was trapped, or atleast direct EMS when they arrive.
i left the scene with my heart still racing, and my hands kinda shaking, its not fun times. i don't know what the guy was doing, how the accident happened, or anything. all i know is there was a body ejected from the truck in the left lane, a demolished truck in the right lane about 20 yards up, and a pair of black sneakers, sketchers, on the ground by the cabin of the truck. its never worth it to drive aggressively guys, be safe on the roads. if you miss your exit, don't cut 2 lanes to make it, just take the next one. don't swerve through traffic, you wont gain more than 5 minutes. but you could love 20 in a motor vehicle stop, or even longer in a minor accident. worse, you could miss the night in the hospital, or worse.
here is a picture of the truck, yes that is a hole by the engine area, and the axle is torn, thats what i swerved to avoid.

there is no topic, thats the point, this is the chit chat thread. right now, market for pharmacists is great. if you can graduate, its about a 96%-98% rate of graduates that get a job within 3-6 months of graduating. and those are 6 figure jobs. graduating a 6 year doctorate program, not easy lol. i dunno what you mean administration, as in business/pharm degree? plenty of those. many pharmacists are community pharmacies, aka small, owned by some local pharmacists

another article, with another view of the wreckage. yes the yellow tarp was covering the body, i saw them lay it down as i left

That is a crazy story dave. I havent ever seen a dead body like that before, but I imagine that it leaves a huge impression on you. In high school I didnt really drive as smart as I should have sometimes. Things like this really make me glad I've matured.

Well shit, steam ship Joseph Boe. Sometimes I still think this way, but the way I act around most people/at work is completely different. I have a lot of these kinds of ideas but only about 10% of them actually happen. Its happening gradually. It's like waiting for brisket to cook.

small update incase anyone wants to read, http://www.cliffviewpilot.com/bergen...mus-police-say
30 year old new york man was apparently fleeing another accident, speeding, when he struck several cars and a tanker, then flipped, and yea...
OP what'd you use to make the design? does it impede your view out the rear window?

I used white electrical tape, free handed. All I can see out the back is the middle dashed line and the very bottom edge of the numbers, so it doesn't affect the view. I only spent about 20 minutes on it, which is why the top and bottom lines are a little bit wavy.

When I was thinking dinosaurs, I was thinking something small on the small side window. Something like this with or without the Jurassic Park logo. Dinosaurs were just a thought for that space. I am also thinking about using electrical tape on the side window and carving something out of it with my xacto knife. I am not very artistic so its going to take a lot of thinking for me to get something I like.

On a separate topic... I've noticed a lot of females, mostly younger, are driving modded cars lately. Yesterday at the local self service car wash, there was a girl washing her tastefully modded white Si coupe sitting on Work Emotion rims @ 8:00 AM.
