2012 TSX wagon memory seats issue

I have a small issue with my memory seats. They work fine and hold the seating position well, but when I open the door, the seat moves to position 2 instead of position 1. Is there any way to set position 1 as the default? Thanks in advance.

Each key fob is labeled as "driver 1" and "driver 2". Check whether you're using the "driver2" fob when opening the door. From the user manual:

When you unlock and open the driver’s door with the remote transmitter, the driver’s seat moves to the position stored in memory. You will hear two beeps when the movement is completed. The indicator in the related memory button on the driver’s door remains on.

You will also see the ‘‘DRIVER 1’’ or ‘‘DRIVER 2’’ message on the multi- information display, depending on which linked remote transmitter is used.
You can turn off this driving position memory activation. Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time. The LED in the remote transmitter will blink twice. Then release the buttons. Doing this also cancels the memory position link setting for that remote and restores the default settings.

To turn the memory position link settings back on, repeat this procedure. The LED will blink once to indicate the feature has been turned on.

Switching remotes

Tonka you, this makes a lot more sense than what I have read so far. Is there any way to switch driver 1 to the second remote? My first remote is a little beat up but the second is perfect.

Yes, just like our Tonka toys, the fobs do get beat up.

Is there a reason that you can't set your desired seating position on keyfob 2 if that is the one you are using?

My first key fob is really messed up. The chrome on the lock and unlock has been stripped off and it got all scratched up from being the key we used while the car was in the shop.

You could try switching the remote part of the fobs, so your keyfob labeled "driver 2" will transmit the "driver 1" signal...

^yep. Swap the shells/cases of the remote.

Or just unlink the memory seat-to-remote function.

Save driver 1 settings to driver 2? That way either fob will have the same settings.

2012 TSX Wagon Exhaust System

Does anyone know where I could find a good sounding exhaust for around $500 or less. Nothing that sounds like a civic, and is a bit on the quieter side. I've researched some skunk 2 exhausts but it seems they only make the kits for 04-08 models, and the Tsudo SP2 Catback exhaust is way too loud for my neighborhood. Appreciate any help, thanks!

Did you buy the ice box straight from the CT engineering website? I noticed that they have one for the 04-08 model tsx, but yours is 2011. Did it fit decently enough or was there some custom fitting required?
