Arts and crafts time.

Before you all get your panties wet. This will just be a "one-off." But I'll show you guys the DIY if you have the balls/ovaries to do it.

Do you plan to keep it looking the same?
or do you have tricks up your sleeve?

this particular one is to keep it clean. i have to make the outer grill for the 11' from scratch so i dont want to cut up my OEM one.

no slight of hand this time.

if this center piece is too wide, then ill put it on the 09-10' bumper that i have. so ill take pictures of the measurements for both 09-10' and 11' bumpers

Are you planning on competing with his sales? heheh

Awesome stuff. Are you gonna make a mock up of the middle insert to put on the 09/10 grille you have?

nope. it's strictly a "one-off"

i dont have the 09/10 grill anymore. if i did, ill be dremeling the outer grill to just slide it in. id either have to find the outer grill, buy that C mod grill or make one from scratch. whatever is cheaper.

ya how much you want to pay me to get your grill

yea i was looking at this when someone bumped it from the grave and decided to just buy it and see if i can make it work. again it all depends on the length of this. i really dont want to chop up the grill because of the chrome piece.

this is something i will summon the courage out of my mid-puberty 17 year old balls and do if there is a DIY to follow.

dunno what kind of difficulty you are expecting but if the length or the blades or curvature of the blades (from a lateral aspect how far and what angle they protrude outward) is off then it will be a much bigger project all of a suddenly

i have low expectations with the difficulty right now. once when i put this grill up against the 09/10 bumper and the 11 bumper then i can see the type of difficulty.

im hoping to just cut two squared holes and use 2 L-brackets and call it a day.

Wouldn't be the first time...

From my pov, looks like the MDX grille isn't as wide as ours. I foresee difficulties.

damn im so butt hurt right now. youre allowed to give up 10 times in life.

if its short. then its good since the 11' bumper is shorter.

otherwise i have to create a bridge on the 09/10 bumper
