Changing HID bulbs without removing front bumper?
I have recently purchased Osram Xenarc ds2 bulbs and wanted to install them today... Is there a way to swap the blubs without taking the front bumper off?
Thanks

if you can fit your hands through the wheel well....
butt, its easier to drop the bumper than trying to squeeze your hand in tight quarters.
HOnest to god, you'll spend 30 mins trying to squeeze your hand through the wheel well, when it only takes less than 5 mins to drop the bumper.

Do what you feel. We've expressed our opinions on the fact that, YES you could do this without taking the bumper off; but NO it is not the ideal way of doing things, and is certainly not the way I'd attempt the DIY. Try without taking the bumper off first. If you fail, there's always option 2.
Last tip: if you DO take the front bumper off, don't leap for joy or yank it out once it's off. There are fog light connectors on each side you'll need to unclip first.

It`s possible change the bulbs without taking a bumper off. But as said before if you do have big hands don`t even try. I did change the bulbs last week without taking bumper off and it took about 1 hour and didn`t have any good instructions. Did not hurry up so maybe next time I can do it in 0.5 hour . If you remove bumper be careful not to broke the clips when pulling bumper off.

I managed to get the cover off the wheel well, and can maneuver my hand to get access to the bulb...
Unfortunately it started raining so I will have to attempt it again once it stops... I'll let you guys know the status once I get a chance to do it again.
Thanks for all your input.

Everyday I'm rofling
Just try it and find out...
Set aside enough time to take off the bumper if needed. You better not be replacing your bulbs with something like 10,000k or I will hate you forever.

Soupi is hopeless. He asks questions then does the exact opposite.
The new thread will be about how crappy the bulbs are because they broke while he was putting them in.
You would have also thought that he would have looked at a weather report before starting on this.
Oh well, I'm sure we'll hear lots more.

I ended up taking my bumper off, passenger change was a breeze but now having issues with the driver bulb it seems like someone that did the headlight job, cut the base wire and put a different headlight....
does anyone know what i should do or were i can get the original wire piece that connects to the ballast ..
this seems to be the base of the headlight, i tried but it dosnt come apart, so I'm guessing it came together as one...
the connecter that was slaughtered to the connecter for the hid....
does anyone know where i can get the original wire connector so i can replace it... because i can't put the regular bulb in.

Given the fact that you have had significant trouble in the past based on pre-existing accident damage, I would go back to the seller and have them fix it properly on their dime.
