Dime Feng does like us! He was the biggest contributor to the FlashPro thread by sharing almost all of his revisions with us. Without him, I wouldn't be on the tune I'm using right now

Last I heard, he totalled his car.

I thought maybe MC was too much of a disgrace to the Asian community with his pink stickers so he stopped posting.

When getting new tires, is it necessary to have the TPMS Rebuild kit aswell?

They will tell you it is but I don't think so unless the rubber o rings are super old but that really never happens from what I have seen over all my years of doing them.

But it's only a few dollars more per wheels so if they won't do them with out a new kit then I would just pay for the kits.

^^^
My thoughts as well. If they're really new like swapping tires/rims off a new car or something then I usually let it ride.

For miled out replacement tire the tire jockies usually recommend it and I figure it's a cheap bit of preventative insurance.

I suppose you could pick up a set of new sensors to have them install if you can find it cheaper than they'd charge at the dealer/tire store.

i was in Sport steering + INSANE mode.
every time that there was a straight with no cars in front of me, i held down the skinny pedal.

felt like a roller coaster EACH time. you can feel the pull and the passengers let you know by letting out a giggle or a "whoa"

i flogged more than my co-worker, as he was following too closely to other cars...

i on the other hand knew better and crept slowly letting the space open up before i smashed the gas

Heh. Nice.

But, are all Tesla's required to come with vanity plates? I don't think I've ever seen one without. Always "LOLGAS" or "MPGWUT" or something.

Interesting... Going from Rays to Enkeis. I know the RFP1s are pretty light but how do they compare to the TEs?

Couple of reasons I changed them, the TEs would not clear the front brakes with out 5mm spacers and I got a vibration because they are hub centric wheels and with the spacer they could not sit on the hub.

The other reason is the wife spent a bunch of money on getting the enkeis and some tires for them and they would not work on her car due to she is on springs and the fender sat right on the tires.

So she gave them to me and I will sell the TEs to get her a set of tires and wheels that will fit her car.

The car handles better with the enkeis due to they are 8.5 and the TEs are 7.5. Steering is a lot more responsive. Not sure the difference in weight but it can't be that much.

When I go to buy a nice set of wheels for my car they will be the correct specs to fit over the front brakes with out spacers

The TEs are much nicer wheels due to I had them fixed and powder coated, and I can get more out of the TEs when I sell them then I could for the enkeis.

I have always liked 225/40r18 for my summer wheels. It's a bit harder ride but summer is only a few months here in Seattle and then I run my stocks for winter.
