Anyone know of a protector for the rear bumper just by the trunk area? so i dont mark it up by loading / unloading stuff.

Just be a fucking man and lift it into the trunk without scratching your bumper!

Lamin-x for $$$

Acura has a clear applique for the wagon. Maybe fits sedan? Maybe they have one specific for sedan?

Or just some 3M vinyl wrap for $

Yea, I actually had no idea how big they were until you showed me that comparo picture. I bought them that night lol. Especially if you have the modulo/sport bumper, they look waaaaaaaaay better.. Too much gap with the OEM ones.

Not specifically, you need to DIY:

One 12" x 40" Universal Headlight Cover or Tail Light Cover

Or by the roll:

6" x 75' Roll of DuraShield+ Paint Protection

12" x 15' Roll of our 12 mil Clear Lamin-x Protection

For the 2011+, When you remove your front grille, the chrome surround comes with it also right? i.e. the "beak" and the surround part are one piece correct?

If it's similar to the 2010 one there are 4 screws on the back to take off the beak.

I dont get how laminx films are cut to the shape. When I had vinyl on my tail lights I was heating and stretching it to apply. How do the precut shapes fit correctly?

Also laminx is grossly overpriced.

Dunno. I bought sheets and cut to fit.

Definitely overpriced, IMO. But the time-to-time coupons make it a little bit more palatable. Good product though.

precut is still flat. and will require heat and stretch and all that too. just charge more for less material/

How can I get the code for my navigation system? Disconnected the battery and it's asking for one.

Either thier is a card in the user manual or when you open the glove box left hand upper corner thier is a sticker with the navi and radio codes.

I didn't see a card, I'll check for the code in the glove compartment though. It was dark so I didn't get a good look.

If it's there it's a sticker and it's kind of hard to see anyways.

Check the smaller maintenance manual too. It should have been written down on the first few pages. That's where my radio and nav codes are at. No card.

Yeah could just be written down as well. Check first/last few pages of all manuals/documents handed to you when you bought the car.

saw it on the news.

IMO the best approach is to put credit alerts on all credit report pulls. the ONLY downside is you wont be given instant credit. the credit place, like experian, has to call you for a PIN to allow the credit report to be supplied. they do expire so you need to keep track o f them. or you could pay a place like Lifelock to do it all for you.

too many data breaches to keep track of. and how many do we not even know about.

also about every 6 months I rip up a card and get a new number. I only have 2 and a checking card so its not that hard.

they also use it to file fake tax returns SO to avoid that start your return early. and beat them to the punch. I also think you can set up something for extra verification with the IRS if you want that LOL

Experian is offering 2 years of credit monitoring for free from the breach. I signed up. Gonna do the verification thing for irs. Thanks for the tip.

Luckily found the sticker inside, appreciate the help though.

So I installed my CAI like 2 days ago. After installing I noticed a sound I never heard before. My cousin that helped install it said it sounded like the fuel injectors. Is that anything to be worried about and should I do something like seafoam to clean them? Car is at 47.5K miles. Kind of skeptical about products like seafoam and such because I've never used them and not sure if they do more good than harm.

Short video of the noise:

Most heard at the beginning and the end. This was the night it was installed, I feel like after driving a bit it's not as bad in the video, but I'd have to listen to it again before confirming.

That doesn't sound like injectors. Sound gets louder with engine speed.

Wonder how the A badge would look smoked or knocked down with a matte clear spray so it wasn't as stark?

id leave the badge and get a set of the oem black fog shrouds. so the only chrome IS the badge. And IMO no front plate is better than any other option.
