Would the transmission off a 2003 MDX fit a 2002 TL?
My transmission is absolutely fine right now, but considering it's not an AV6 unit, it's probably going to take a dump soon enough. I was initially just planning on buying a AV6 one whenever that happened, but there's someone selling a newly rebuilt 2003 Acura MDX transmission (new torque converter and everything) for rather cheap on craigslist (a lot cheaper than the prices I'd seen for the AV6 ones), which got me thinking if it would swap onto my TL. Really couldn't find much information on this at all :/

Short answer: Nope
Long Answer: The MDX uses a Full Time AWD System which has a small transfer case for the rear differential.. Size is also different and the transmission mounts are not on the same place. Then you have that the MDX 03 had the same amount of faulty transmission issues than the 2G TL soooo you are swapping a bad apple with a bad orange.
Try to sell the MDX Transmission and save up for the AV6.
