urethane suspension bushing help

My 02 type s has some very worn out rubber in the suspension . I have been looking for a polyurethane master bushing set similar to what energy suspension and prothane offer. After countless hrs of searching I have not been able to find much of anything. Does anyone know either if such a set for the 2nd Gen tl exists, or if perhaps there is an accord (or other model) with which the tl shares it's suspension and thusly a bushing set? Any help is very appreciated

Any reason why just replacing to OEM won't work?

Oem bushings are rubber, if it's possible, I would much prefer polyurethane.

Just wondering what your aversion to rubber is..

are you allergic

13 year old rubber is obviously worn so new rubber would be lightyears' improvement.

Lol. True new rubber is lightyears improvement over worn rubber, but in my experience new poly is lightyears improvement over new rubber. . . I just haven't been able to find it for this car...

The durometer of the material is what you should be shopping not type of material. You want a stiffer suspension that's fine if your racing it around the track. daily driver just a waste IMHO

Strangely enough, I actually prefer the stiffer suspension both for daily driving as well as my frequent long mountain drives. I guess I'm not hard line against a stiffer than oem rubber, but haven't even been able to find a compkete suspension

Sorry, gotta live posting from a phone.... that should read haven't been able to find a complete suspension bushing kit at all. Hence my wondering if the tl shared it's suspension with another honda/acura vehicle.

You wont find it.. There are some parts like the Radius Rod bushing that MOOG makes in Poly but most of our suspension parts are shared with the decaying 6th gen Accord chassis which is more popular than ours and still lacks Poly Support.

Your only choice is CUSTOM or live with Rubber + A couple of Poly Bushings.
