Second track day at Buttonwillow Raceway

I'll be heading out to my second track at Buttonwillow on March 27th. Feel free to come hang out if you live around Bakersfield and what not or even ride along with me! First time out on this track and I got 7 sessions.

Enjoy, my in-laws live in Tehachapi. I need to get out to Willow Springs next time I'm out there.

What are you running for brake pads?

Its always a good idea to flush the brake fluid before- and after a track day..before driving home.
back in the day: Showroom Stock/Improved type class, we bled them after every on-track session!
Confidence into the braking zone allows you to go faster thru-out of the corner

You may want to switch to DOT 5.1 fluid for track day use. NOT 5 point zero- thats bad for the TL
5 point ONE.... ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!
DOT 4 normally
SS brake lines will give it better operation at all braking pressures

Hey 01tl4tl! We talked about this last time for my first track day! I am gonna be replacing my rotors soon because my hp+ hawk pads ate up my last one. Also using ATE dot 4. Just need to do some maintenance, buy some camber stuff, fix the weird stalling problem, buy a rear sway bar, maybe a bucket seat, etc.

Hopefully I can reach my goal of 2:11.xxx on the 13cw
