Are these still available? The 6-CD changer of our 12 year-old head unit just gave up the ghost and I'm looking at a potential replacement. Do they offer an OEM head unit with just a single CD player?

If not, any suggestions on the best aftermarket head unit that doesn't look like an ugly zit on the dashboard? I would also like to connnect my iphone as long as I need to pull out the head unit.

All the power to people who want to mod their music playing set up but personally I just spent a few bucks on one of those casette tape to aux. wire adapters and play music off my phone.

Yes acura did make a single disc player- my 01 has it

My '00 TL also has the single disc stereo. I recommend checking the audio subforum as well. I'm considering replacing the factory headunit, have been for a while, and I've found loads of good info there.
