Please help me find a part number!

Hi everyone,

I finally got my hands on an OEM lip kit for the 2G. For the rear lip, my guy at the body shop pointed out to me that I will need a new gasket. It's a small rubber piece that fills the gap between the lip and the bumper (see photo). Does anyone have any idea where I could get one of these? Or know a part number? Thanks a lot for any help you all have.

You are probably better off finding a suitable alternative on your auto parts shop, The OEM Lip Kit hasn't been available online for many years and its probable that insulator came with it only and wasn't ever sold separately.

Thanks. Is this a part I 100% need?

I think its only a spacer so that the Lip Kit rest firmly tight into the bumper.. I believe is not important for anything else.

Thanks for your help! We are going to do a test fit without the spacer and see if it looks ok. if it doesn't, we'll improvise something with a standard parts-bin seal

No Problem!
I think a door frame universal sealer can work.. They sell it with that double sided M3 Tape.
