Pioneer deck install

It's 5 hours and I still can't get my new deck to turn on. I bought the deck brand new for 100 at best buy and a dash kit Along with a wire harness. I managed to get my old radio out and after correctly wiring everything I tried to turn it on, nothing. Has anyone done this and is there like any tricks. I've Checked radio fuses replaced the deck and rewired the harness

Dumb question but are you sure you are trying with the KEY II Position? Our radio isn't directly connected to the battery, if you used the OEM harness for the radio to turn on the KEY must be in "II" Position.

Lets ask some more specific questions...is the radio not turning on, as in no lights, you hit the power button and nothing happens? Or are the lights on, seems to be on but you hear no sound? There are a multitude of issues you could be having. If there are no lights when you hit the power button, and your CAR fuse is fine, there is a small fuse usually under where the harness plugs into the radio, have you looked at that? If that is OK and the CAR's fuses are OK, you may have it wired wrong, or if you bought it from a store like Wal-Mart, someone may have returned it after it broke, you may actually have a bad unit. If the lights come on, but no sound, you either need to turn on your factory amp(s), or run new wiring and bypass the factory amplifier(s). Your best friend right now would be a $10 multimeter from Harbor Freight, to test the wires going into your Pioneer radio. Sorry I am not closer, I could probably troubleshoot this for you in about 5 minutes...good luck...

First thing to ask is are you SURE its wired correctly. Its very often said and often wrong. 2nd thing to check is both radio fuses. There are 2 for the radio in the passenger side fuse box. Do you have a multi meter? Are you getting 12v at the radios harness? On both power and acc power wires?

Check for constant 12v on the yellow? I think that's the constant, and the red should have 12v with the key on.....

Take a good up close picture of where you wired the harness together and post it.

Radio is getting no lights, i hit power and absolutely nothing happens, I know it wired correctly cuz bud interned at a radio shop and wiring is one of the easiest things. We checked both radio fuses in the cabin, the fuse in the radio and double checked our wiring. I know this sounds crazy which is why I came to the community

I returned the radio and gave up guys. my car is still pretty stock so I'm going to get tint instead, but I'm still going to do it in the future and then I'll post pictures to solve this mystery.

Did you ever test the wiring at the radio to see if it was in fact getting 12v there?
