What's up, y'all?!? I've been lurking and learning for some time now, so it feels good to finally join the party! Now, for my introduction:
Screen Name: ProfessorFunk Area of country: FL panhandle Brief description of TL: 2002 TL-P with an automatic tranny and ~ 127,000 miles. I named her "Marilyn" because she's white with gold trim. That, and despite having a few years on her, she's still pretty hot! Original transmission?: Yes (knock on wood). Cleaned solenoid filters (they didn't need it), have done two 3x1 changes and changed the external filter. Purchased new or used? When?: Used (in 2014 with 102k on her). Current Mods: Intake resonator delete. Future Mods: Headers, CAI, MDX manifold spacer, thermal gaskets everywhere I can put them, thermostat, maybe lightweight pulleys, hopefully other intake/exhaust flow improvements. We bought the car for my son. So far we have completed the 3X3 trany fluid change. The car has 177K, leather interior, & it drives OK so far. Some panels were replaced on the front R, so I think someone traded it in to a dealer then went to auction. It has Michelins now.

Current Mods: not much, i have black RSX wheels on her now, changed the interior lights, debadged, 20% tint all around (should've gotten 10% )
future mods: Plan on changing the spark plugs to the ngk iridiums at 75k. wanna change the air filter, cabin filter. read up on cold air intakes and found out they're not worth it the time/effort (performance is very minimally increased). definitely upgrading the brakes/rotors once these are done. I still have the stock radio and want to change it to something with bluetooth/usb/aux. want t, also i hate the silver color now i wanted to get it wrapped or painted but thats a bit expensive. i'm trying to find performance mods i can do myself but doesnt seem like there are many.

BTW, it looks like you are also looking to fix/upgrade your headlights. My driver's side one is full of water and the high- and low-beam are both out. Gotta get it resolved before my inspection is up in October...

if you need a spare HID ballast, i kept mine but one igniter is out... I switched to an aftermarket HIDs and so far so good... if your headlight is not cracked where it can be seen from the outside, you might be able to get away with re-sealing the housing and sanding it to clear out the yellowing...

Did some sleuthing after I bought the car and this was actually an old member's car (MickeyTL). I bought it from the person he had sold it to, its in great shape, cosmetically has some scuffs on the left rear quarter and I'm pretty sure I need sway bar end links.
