I need your help.

I have Acura 2000 TL 3.2. I want to install Car Remote Starter as winter here in Calgary is Awesome

I need your recommendation/Suggestion regarding Car remote Starter which one should i install in my car

I have a personal preference to viper. I've installed many over the years and never had any trouble with them.

its BAD to let the TL warm up on its own at idle while you sit in the house!
read your owner book

start it- less than a minute warm up to establish oil pressure and begin driving slowly
Heat in the engine and cat get built up faster by driving than sitting
To get the fuel system off the full rich startup settings- you have to have that heat!

our driver seat heater kicks! run it on HIGH for 5 minutes then switch to low for continuous warmth
read owner book for why not to run on high full time = overload circuit

Best thing to do for a cold weather TL is run synthetic oil 0w-20 for the winter
It gets to pressure fast fast! that's what you want~

I also prefer Viper, I have an older one installed in my car and it works great!

01tl4tl where do you live? lol. I grew up in Maine and I can promise you that when it was -10 in the morning, that car was going to warm up a bit before I got in it.

read your owner book- it warms up WAY faster- engine and cabin, by driving and generating heat from combustion in the cylinders = heats the coolant and makes hot air come thru the heater core

your seat heater takes care of the rest!

getting the ECU off the FULL RICH MIXTURE settings used at startup is very important

You don't want to idle more than 5 min our Hondas in OPEN LOOP! That's a lot of crap going into your CAT and o2 Sensors.

My car idles all day. 600k miles of driving, never an issue from it. Especially for those where it gets well below zero. They want a warm car to get into.

Sure, the Motor will warm up faster driving it, BUT you will not be warm until it does. Live in a area where it actually gets cold and you will let it idle as long as it takes. Seat heaters arent going to do anything for quite a while too at that temp. I can tell you, when it gets -25 deg here you could count the amount of people on one hand that get in the car after 30 sec and start to drive it.

I wonder for people at those temps you don't have a block heater?? Coldest it gets here is around 32*F and that's enough to get a frost bitten ass with our leather seats.. Though we still don't idle any different than summer.

frost bitten ass at those temps That is still T-Shirt weather. My seat heaters have only been used once, and that was by my girlfriend at the time. Then in typical TL heated seat fashion they broke and it was brought to my attention. I still havent fixed them, nor do i ever see my self doing so. Some like block heaters, some dont. I dont. Its a pain to have to remember to go out and plug it in, then to remember to unplug it. Plus there are way to many times plugging it in for some isnt a option. Press a button on the remote and the car starts and warms up. Plus it cant be that bad on vehicles, especially since most manufacturers are offering it now days

^ I don't have heated seats in the driver side either stupid heater element issue and my laziness to pull apart the seat... Been like that for years!..

Theres something wrong with your o2 heaters if it takes 5 minutes to reach closed loop, Mines take around a minute.
