Accord Sideskirts

JUst wondering if anyone has done it. Ive somewhat have pieced together a Lip kit minus the Sides and have noticed its a bitch to find. Ive found the FAncy Fiberglass or "fiberflex" as they call them but have not heard back from them on a turn around shipping them to the states and want to send the car in for paint Any help would be appreciated

Yes I would like to know if someone has put 98-02 accord side skirts on their TL. I know its the same Chassie just dont know if they are shorter or longer. I know the Accord Guys have fitted the Type s Skirts on there accords which is the reasoning for the Question

im sure if any, its not off by much, the difference would be mounting locations and shape.

best thing to do is get the measurements from the accord sideskirts and measure your car from wheel well to wheel well...

of course, anything is do-able with a little elbow grease and time.

Oem body kit is often referred to as a "Type S" I've noticed. He probably means that.

So I saw an accord with our lip kit modded to fit yesterday...

Didn't look too bad until I saw the front. I hope I can run into him again so I can snap a pic.

I remember a guy on here modded a 6th gen front lip to fit onto our cars...just can't say who.

i would want to see that seeing that our front bumpers have the point in the middle. I know that the Rear lip fits for a fact as ive test fitted one on my friends TL just have to stretch it out a bit.

no.. there isn't.. but its the internet.. you're bound to get people that post like that.. i am one of them.. from time to time... hahaha

but there is so many people that call it the "type-s kit" that i'm pretty sure the members here are pretty sick of it by now.. especially for people that's been on here as long as me.. can't say the same for the people that's been here longer....

Next time you try to one up someone get your head your ass use google and find out the information so you don't make yourself look special, being wrong is one thing correcting someone by giving wrong info is another

Thank you, and yes it is getting old to hear "type s" especially since the tl didn't come type s til the 02-03 model, and there is a kit made for the older model too at best you can call it an aspec kit since it was a standard option for the aspec.

There has been at least 5 threads last month and a half about the kit, but if you type kit in the search field you get 10 pages of results

You guys are being assholes dude.

I'm curious as to see if modding the accord lipkit will work on our cars since the accord has so many different kits out. Keep us updated on when you get your hands on some side skirts.

The TL has a longer wheel base than the Accord so it may not look right.

Seriously, you guys are still talking about this? LOL

Why are you trying to reinvent the wheel? Just buy the correct one that's made for your car for goodness sake.

Ahhh, yes an accord skirt will fit on a tl. Just like a sock on a roster!
