03 TL Coolant Capacity & Non-Honda?

275k miles - Always had it changed at dealer with Honda Coolant
Car still runs great, but now used as 'second' car, getting 1000 miles every 3-5 months.
OK to change to non-Honda coolant?
Capacity?
Thanks

Stick with OEM. 2 gallons should be enough , csn be had under 25 bucks a gallon. Shouldn't break the bank..

i've used non-Honda coolant with great success.
you have to remember our engine block and radiator are aluminium and you have to pick a coolant that doesnt contain any phosphates or silicates.

in other words use "Phosphate and silicate FREE coolant"

I'd just stick with OEM esp since you have used it all this time
