Steering rack ?

Steering rack ?
OK so I've decided the steering shake and vibration at speed is actually down to the rack itself.
You can feel the slop and snatching on the tie rods if you pull the rack through it's travel.
Are there any differences through the years.
Some suppliers say no, others say yes.
Just want to check before ordering one.
If anyone knows a good cheap supplier please let me know.
Prices so far vary from $350-$1100 for the various makers. Might even take a chance on a used one at this point.
This one has done 190k miles.
Also has anyone changed one themselves and knows of any issues doing so?
Cheers.

You have to decide, members here are from many different means. At 190K I'll be looking to dump the car, but maybe not. If you want to drive it, if you were me, I would be doing some research of the rebuilt or aftermarket units and fix it. Best is always Honda parts, but for me, sometimes it's not worth it. Other times, like getting alternators rebuilt from an auto parts store, well there you're just wasting your time when they die 6 months later.
