Noise when AC is running
For the past few weeks I hear a fairly loud rumbling when I hit the AC ON Button which disappears when I turn off the AC with the fan still running
Ideas?

Leave the a/c running and check the drive belt area and try to narrow down the noise . The extra load caused by the compressor engagement will usually affect the noisy component. I would suspect the drive belt tensioner....should sound like a rattle or buzzing type noise.

BTW, Scrim, really like those wheels in your avatar shot. Got a bigger photo?
