I did not purchase any additional options. Dealer provided “value package” at no cost. It included, door edge guards, wheel locks, tint on all windows, Automate, deck lid spoiler, splash guards and trunk tray.

I wanted the RL so bad that I was prepared to pay the sticker price ($49,470.00). However, negotiating to sell my trade-in (2004 Volvo S-80 T6), the dealer offered $4000 more then I was offered at other Acura dealers or by BMW, Infiniti or Lexus dealers I visited.

I consider the deal I got to be outstanding. The RL has exceeded my expectations.

The $541 is before 6% NJ sales tax of $32.50, so monthly pmt is $573. I was downright giddy and through in a $595 package that covers replacement of a bunch of consumables including replacement bulbs should they fail. Rolled in, the total monthly pmt is $595.

Note to NJ Lessees: My salesperson informed me (and I verified) that as of 10/1/05 the ENTIRE sales tax for any lease (not just cars) now must be collected up front, which would have "cost" me another $1,200 or so out of pocket day one. Of course, the corresponding monthly payment would have been less by 6%.
