Is there a Rear Seat Back Protector for the RDX?

Hi all! I just purchased my CPO 2014 RDX AWD w/tech and couldn't be more excited!

I'm coming from owning a forester and am looking into accessories for the car.

Definitely planning on getting:
-all season floor mats
-splash guards
-cargo tray

Considering getting the rear cargo cover.

My question is, in my subaru i had these rear seat back protectors that were the same material as the cargo tray and protected the backs of the rear seats (i.e. when you place the seats down to increase cargo, it's like the cargo tray had been extended).

(example: Subaru Forester Rear Seat Back Protector (Part No: J501SSG400))

Do any of you use something similar for your RDX's? I saw that there are the "Seat Covers-Rear," but it's not what I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance!

I just carry a blanket in the back for situations like that. If I go to the dump with bags of leaves, I just spread out the blanket.

Acura does make a trunk liner that covers the back of the rear seats, sides and trunk but it is not the same material as the cargo tray.

P.S. Congrats on your purchase!

I think I'll just carry a blanket, too. I don't find myself having to put the seats down too often.

I saw the Cargo Liner, but wasn't a fan of it. Definitely something I would get if I had a dog though!

Thanks guys

I have the back seat cover. It does protect, fits like a glove and looks pretty nice with theb RDX embossed on it.

I have the back seat cover as well but he was asking about something that covers the back of the back seats like some Subaru's have which is made of the same material as the cargo tray.

I'm selling my back seat protectors off our 16' RDX.From what I was told should fit Rdx's from 2013-2016. It was an impulse buy and don't think we needed it. If your interested shoot me a pm.

Congrats on your purchase.

Hey guys, thanks for the responses!

I'm not talking about the back seat covers that acura currently sells (the ones you guys listed above). If I had pets or babies, I'd definitely look into one though!

What I'm talking about is that in my old Forester I had, there was something that latched onto the poles of the headrest and hung against the backs of the seats (the side that's adjacent to the trunk). It was the same material as the cargo mat, and actually folded over the cargo mat so that when you placed the seats down (to increase cargo room), both the trunk floor and the backs of the seats were protected with the same material.

As far as I can tell, acura doesn't make it though, so I was wondering if anyone had found any other means.

I posted a link in my original post as to what I meant.

Thanks for the suggestions though guys!

The cargo liner accessory will protect your seatbacks, but not to the extent of your Forester.
