Failed Touch Up Paint
I recently bought a touch up paint pen from my dealership. I was satisfied with the paint but the clear coat came out really bad and bumpy. It is not as smooth and you can clearly see it. Is there any way to remove it? It's been less than 24 hours

As far as I know the one way to smoothen out rough bumps is to polish it. But it may thin out the surrounding paint too. I would leave it as it as unless it is super ugly or noticeable in which case a visit to a body shop can be considered. But ....for a touch up spot. ....... come on.

The Original Shawdy
It is always best to polish it after the coating has cured.

I might need to get some touch up also...is it like a ball point pen or is it like a nail polish brush?
we have chips on the bottom edge of the rear hatch where it power closed on our dogs leash clip or something hard metal like that.
my cousin who owns a body shop said to get the dealer touch up, apply in multiple layers and use 2000g to polish it out.
ill prob pay to have dent pros do it while at the dealer for warranty work because theres also a nasty white scrape on the fender that won't buff out.
