I'm new to here anyone lowered rdx here?

Congratulations and welcome to the club. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone lowering the RDX here. This is not a sports sedan. Most of us love the RDX for its slightly elevated seating position and lowering the car would negate that advantage. But you are welcome to plow your own path and enlighten the rest of us folks here. Ive actually been wanting to do this to the wifes RDX. Im sure if you talked to someone at BC or similar then they could give you a def answer. Good Luck and let us know.

Well, technically, the RDX is a "crossover" and not a full SUV...

And a "crossover" is basically just a lifted station wagon...

And station wagons are the best body style of any vehicle*...

And HondAcura doesn't offer a wagon after killing off the TSX...

...so by lowering the RDX, one would theoretically be getting as close to perfection as one compromised vehicle can be.

Your mileage may vary.

Some vehicles have a horrendous wheel to fender gap that makes them very aesthetically unpleasing, including some crossovers. In that case I am ok with a MILD drop (think 0.5"-1" max) for aesthetic reasons and it also improves handling in some cases. This is why I love air suspension because you can lower and raise as you like. I personally don't consider the 2G RDX to be one of those vehicles though and would not drop it. I also strongly dislike cars where they are dropped to the point where wheels are tucked under the fender, I can appreciate people expressing themselves though and to each their own, I just won't ever do that myself.

Speaking of SUVs, there used to be a guy around here who low-ridered a full sized Chevy Suburban...quite a sight.

But as the guy said...to each his own.

I saw a lowered Audi Q5 and it looked ridiculous. I think a lowered RDX would look even more ridiculous.

I don't get why anyone would want to lower an RDX. I would think there are very few people under the age of 30 owning one. My Son who is 27, lowered his 08 Mazda 3 to an unsafe level, to the point when he made turns the front tires would scrape on the wheel wells. When I told him it was unsafe and furthermore stupid, he disagreed with me. He could not even go over some train tracks for crying out loud. Then he recently got a 2013 Outback and on his facebook page, many of his DA friend's wanted to know when he was going to lower it. Fortunately he has a girlfriend and a new baby so I don't think his GF is going to allow it. Finally some maturity, but I know he would still like to lower it.

Of course I am a crusty 54 year old who never saw any need to modify a car.

I just don't get it.

Agreed. I can understand lowering a Mazda 3 a lot more than an Outback(which is designed to have a higher ride height). I also get lowering a car like a 370Z or Boxster. SUV's on the other hand???? Even the sport versions of SUV's (GC SRT, AMG ML, X5M) have decent ride heights as they are SUV's.
