2016 RDX ELITE (FULLY LOADED CANADIAN) AFTER 5-6 MONTHS OWNERSHIP and LTR with a 9/10
After 5-6 months with this vehicle, I can truly say this is overall the best buy in its class (compact luxury SUV/crossover). I won't go into the reasons, as I have posted the many reasons previously. Here are some new things I have tried:
-After breaking in my engine, I began using Sport mode. This vehicle is FAST (don't believe the haters who say otherwise). It goes from 0 to 60 mph (which is roughly 0 to 100 km/h) in 6.2 seconds. That is as fast as some sports sedans. There is a noticeable difference in increased acceleration in Sports mode vs D mode. Starting at a red light, I've shocked some people by how fast it goes. Most don't expect an SUV to go this fast. It's faster than most of the competition.
-There are two main problems with this vehicle: wind noise on the highway (city driving the noise level is fine) and the brakes squeek a bit sometimes. I may get the brakes resurfaced at the dealer (still under warranty) but have been too busy... might do it at my next maintenance/oil change appointment. I noticed the squeeking got a bit better after I put the pedal to the metal in sport mode. It doesn't happen all the time, only at low speeds (e.g. reversing out of driveway). The wind noise on the highway is not that big of a problem if you turn on the music because the vehicle has variable music volume (the music volume automatically goes higher as you drive faster).
-This is the vehicle that helped me to land a 9/10 girlfriend who looks like a supermodel. I'm now in a long term relationship with this girl. She is thoroughly impressed when I drive her in this car. She loves all the advanced technology, the heated/ventilated seats, just how comfortable and luxurious the ride is. One day when I marry this girl, I will buy her a nice car. I thought about various luxury cars like Mercedes, Audi's, etc. but now I'm thinking, why not just get another Acura RDX? By far the best luxury vehicle for the money. Other car manufacturers charge big money for things like autodimming mirrors, power lift gate, push button start, remote start, etc. etc. whereas in the Acura RDX it either comes standard or you pay a reasonable price for tons of features. That's why I got the fully loaded. It was only around $4000 more than the base model for EVERYTHING! Other manufactuers will give you navigation for $4000 (by forcing you to buy a bundle of upgrades because that's the only way you'll get navigation--look at Mercedes and BMW, absolutely terrible). Also, I sleep well at night knowing I won't be ripped off at my next maintenance/oil change visit whereas if I had a German vehicle, they would bleed me dry.
-In conclusion: Acura RDX = best luxury compact SUV in the segment overall adjusting for everything including price.
Lexus + German luxury cars = over-rated (I've been in all the German luxury vehicles as my friends own them) and overpriced.
-My short term goal right now: I've seen some 2016 Lexus RX on the road (ugly, ugly designs). I know my RDX is gonna smoke them in a race. Just waiting for the red light where my 2016 fully loaded RDX is right beside a 2016 Lexus RX or NX... I'll shift into Sport mode and leave them in the dust. BUOYA!!!!

Glad you like your car. I did but now, not that much. Issue with my parking sensor in a few months of ownership is not something I expected.
By the way, if you drive an NSX and get a girl, then it makes more sense to me.

Hey Rockyboy, welcome back we missed ya. So you are going to buy an RDX for your girlfriend. But then there is another problem. She would drive the car and would get other 9/10 guys . Better to buy her a Mercedes or BMW as only lesser guys would be available.
Just one question, will it be a 2016 version?

Here, let me start the bash train for everyone-
Hey Rocky, fuck off with your bullshit. We all know you're full of it. There's enough threads hating on the RDX, yet with one lick of the tip, you claim the RDX to be the next best thing since sliced bread. I'm not saying it's a bad vehicle, but it is nowhere near what you make it out to be. So fuck off. Eat shit. And die a horribly gruesome death.
Give it up. Fuck, we were all much happier been we thought you were legitimately dead.
