The Canadian NSX 2.0 thread...

#21

$226k CDN + HST.

$12,900 for the carbon brakes and $7,300 for the paint job.

Apparently not for sale. You have to order it.

Wait for the 2018 model and skip the $12,900 ceramic brakes and also skip the $7,800 paint job. If Canadian Acura dealerships are not offering a discount from MSRP yet I suspect they will be offering healthy discounts by the time the 2018 models are out. I like the new NSX but with the competition out there I think in Canada it is at least $20,000 overpriced....

That Valencia Red is hot. It's almost a close call as to whether it's worth the 7K price delta. Looks even better out in the sun.

I agree the NSX looks great in red but maybe I am a little color blind because I don't see enough of a difference between the standard no additional cost curva red and the $7,300 valencia red.

You gotta see them in person. The Valencia looks much much deeper and much much more stunning.

I've seen both reds in person. Valencia red definitely has much more depth and the Curva is flatter, more plain. Whether it's worth the CAD$7k premium is in the eye of the beholder. I have no dog in this fight as I prefer the blue, and to me that is worth the premium.

The blue is awesome too. Hard call. Unfortunately, moot for me right now as I send my young man through college.

Yes, the blue is what I would go for too... I mean if I could LOL. They had a blue at the Toronto car show last year, it looked amazing. Not a big fan of red cars in general.

PS. Ludacris picked up a while one (not Canadian content but what the heck I thought I would mention it, pics of his new ride in his facebook page).

The day I saw this one in Ottawa, I received the latest Car & Driver in the mail. Maybe it's a sign?

Pics from the 2017 Montreal car show (on until next weekend). Up close and in person the lines and curves disappear because of the black color, combined with the horrible lighting of the show.

PS. Acura: don't show a black one again in a car show, unless you can get the lighting perfect.... hint: "black cars look better in the shade..."
