Driver's race.
Assuming the RSX-S driver CAN drive, I think he'll edge the CL-S due to the more aggressive gearing.

stock the CL-S will easily take an RSX-S
there used to be a video done on a old run way showing a 01 or 02 CLS against RSX-S and it was clearly a CL win

RSX-S is 2767 lbs and 200 hp so it is 13.85
CL-S is 3510 and 260 so it is 13.5lb/hp
given the results of that video, it is appearant that the title is incorrect (he must have thought type S stood for supercharged vs sport).
The CL easily took him

I Wanna Beer
RSX-S - 142 lb-ft @ 6000 rpm
CL-S - 232 lb-ft @ 3500-5500 rpm
Almost 100ft-lbs of torque more than the RSX-S and available much sooner to get you up to full speed (and HP). Thats a huge difference.
Thread Starter: Get out there, race and see. Who cares about armchair racing and speculation. Get out in the real world where variables like driver, tires, road conditions, engine condition, etc all come into play.

You're only comparing HP.
RSX-S - 142 lb-ft @ 6000 rpm
CL-S - 232 lb-ft @ 3500-5500 rpm
Almost 100ft-lbs of torque more than the RSX-S and available much sooner to get you up to full speed (and HP). Thats a huge difference.

Also, most honda/acura have a really low final drive ratio on the order of 4.x to 1 the CL is 4.2 and the RSX is 4.7
The thing that helps the CL-S is that the torque curve is flatter than kansas....
