Just bought a 2003 CL...vanity lights won't work????

Hey gents, just recently purchased a 2003 CL Type-S, really enjoying the car but the only thing that doesn't work is all 4 vanity lights in the sun visors. Bulbs all are fine - nothing blown and filaments are visible with clear glass. No readings on a voltmeter, registers at 0. I've checked all of the fuses and everything is good. HOWEVER - on the drivers-side fuse box there is an Accessory fuse port for a 7.5 amp fuse - so I went ahead and tried putting a new 7.5 amp fuse in and it just wobbles - didn't click into anything, almost like the posrt itself is empty. There is clearly a sport marked "Day Lights" on the fuse-panel diagram on the inside of the fuse box cover but the fuse won't click into anything. Upon closer inspection it appears there are no metal clips in that particular port...I don't know where to go from here, maybe they got pushed in? (not sure how that would happen?). Any help would be fantastic. Thanks so much!

yeah it does...I also just found from searching some old threads that they will only come on with the headlights...so they work just fine AFTER I turned on my headlights. I feel like a moron (never had a vehicle with that particular feature). Thanks anyways gents! [walks away sheepishly]

just pull out the whole fuse box and check that terminal.

like you said probably got pushed in. be careful with electricals
I always remember the "maintenance induced failure " saying.

messing with things that will cause other components to fail.
unintentional of course.
