How hard is it to replace a low beam light bulb?
All I know if how to change my oil so I'm not an avid mechanic. Would I be able to replace the bulbs by myself? If so, what tools do I need? Any tips? Thanks for your help.

You need to remove the front bumper. Then remove the headlight. To open the cover behind the headlight, you'll need to unscrew the safety screw thats holding it. I just use a small drill bit for that.
As for tools, a simple 10mm socket and wrench combo and screwdriver will do. And maybe an extention.

false. no need to remove the front bumper, just the plastic shroud over the hood latch, for passenger side, maybe the windshield fluid resevoir, and driver side, battery, antifreeze res and piece of the factory air intake. I got to them just fine and I have huge hands.
here are simple instructions, I've posted before
1. remove the black plastic covering.
(for easier access)
2a. On passenger side, unscrew and remove washerfluid container.
2b. on driver side, remove battery, and the 2 covers near the air filter.
3. remove HID housing (torx security bit)
4. remove HID bulb (turn and release clip)
5. for high beam bulb, there are 2 side screws you only have to loosen and the bulb comes right out
also since you said you are not so mechanically inclined, this job is simple enough for you, but be sure to wear latex gloves so that you don't touch the new bulbs with bare hands. As for tools, I can recall, screw driver, philips for the hi-beam, torx for the hid back cover, (mine didn't have any for some reason) Just have some patience and you'll be fine. gl

Whats up with RDX owners?

No need to remove the front bumper. You do need the torx bit to remove the special screw holding the cap on. Unscrew cap, gently twist off ignitor, unfasten the spring clip, and pull the bulb out. Do not touch the glass capsule on the new bulb. Clean it will an alcohol prep pad before install. Do not turn the lights on or supply power to the car until you have the new lights in. The ignitor cable is transferring a large amount of voltage, and it will kill you.

Thanks for all your replies. I was kinda worried that I had to take the bumper off. But for some odd reason, the bulb that didn't turn on came back on again. I guess I can procrastinate changing the bulb a little longer.

you might want to check the connection anyways incase the clip is loose or something, might as well do some preventative and learn something about your car

Changing a headlight should be something you can do on the side of the road if needed without much trouble. Removing the bumper would go a bit beyond that. I'm not aware of any car on the market that requires you remove the bumper to replace the headlights and if it does the engineer that designed it needs to be shot in the face.
