For those with random transmission issues.

Since its been getting colder I've been getting some issues with my transmission. Third gear would pop out of drive and there would be a vibration as the car would shift into third sometimes. Third was also very slow to engage. What I've noticed is that on the days where my battery would have a hard time starting, is when the problems would occur the most. So I took some time to look at the battery and too my surprise, the battery was the wrong size for the car!! it only had 450cca. Not only that but it had a few dead cells. After replacing the battery, i no longer pop out of gear (so far), third engages faster and vibration is gone. Reseting the ecu couldn't have been the solution because its been tried before. Can anyone with transmission issues test their battery and alt if they have the time to spare. I had a lower voltage than I do now with the new battery. Now I'm at a steady 14.4 volts
