Sold My CL In February I REGRET IT SO MUCH

Not a day goes by when I don't think about the car.

Mine was a 2001 CL type S with navi with 148k.

Reason why I sold it was because the transmission went out but it still drove.

I sold it for $1500 and man what a huge mistake. I miss it so much you guys have no idea. The car was in amazing shape. Probably the cleanest CL.

I am actually looking for a 07/08 TL now.

The worst part of all this is the car had the timing belt replacec 10k before tranny.
Oh and on the morning of the test drive with the guy the car drove like nothing wrong at all.

I bet I could've driven it for few thousand miles.

What a retarded decision i made selling such a rare car that was taken care of meticulously.

Not only that, I ONLY GOT $1500 FOR IT WHAT A FUCKING STEAL.

I found a 6 speed couple weeks ago with 115k but the car was in bad shape.

Quarter panel rust and also needed rear calipers. He was asking for $4000

You could have put in an accord trans for 1500 and still have it.

What you mean is there is no rust you can see or know of. There will be rust under sealant, sound deadener, and rubberized undercoating. Unless you remove everything from the car and scrape off all that like I have, you really have no idea if there is rust. You will also find rust under the windshields if you remove them. Rear fender wells can rust from inside out, etc. Suspension parts, axles, subframe, etc will have rust.

I feel your pain. I sold my CL-S w 108k miles non navi. I was the 2nd owner but the car was on it's 3rd Transmission. I miss that car dearly. I kept the shift knob as a memento.

I Know... I saw and commented in your price check thread.

You probably want more than I was looking to spend as well with the low miles yours has.
