seat belt button thing

Hey guys where do you think i can find a replacement for the seat belt button thing that prevents the buckle from sliding all the way to the bottom. I seem to have slammed the door on the belt and it has fallen off on the passengers side. What is the technical term for it? People are annoyed when they ride in my car but hey.. they can always take the bus

Strangely enough, I bought my car with that thing already gone, passenger side too. I would also be interested in finding out where I can get the "button".

Many times any problems with seat belts is covered by the delaers because of federal safety rules. Wouldn't hurt to try if you state it as a safety problem. My belt stopped retracting all the way and would get stuck in the door, the dealer replaced it.

Really? Will this work for people without warranties? My seatbelts are also sort of sluggish to retract, and I hate that.

mine has the same issue. but rather than a regular replacement plastic one, i want something more fancy. like a neochrome or something. but doesnt seem like anyone sells those.

im thinking of buying the valve cover washer ones and custom making it. but if you guys know or think you can make it please let me know.

This. Anything involving the seat belt in any car is covered under a lifetime warranty. I'm not certain this little piece of plastic will be, but it wouldn't hurt to go to the dealership and see.

+5 on the lifetime warranty on the seatbelts. I'm about to get a new seatbelt buckle because the current one set off the SRS light. They're replace it for me at no charge even though my car is a salvage.

I got a new driver-side seatbelt buckle for the exact same reason. Replaced it in less than 30 minutes at no cost.
