Out working today, I drove by a low budget car lot and noticed a red '03 CLS. I turned around and drove back to the lot to see if it was a 6 speed car. It is. With parchment interior. It came from the St. Louis auto auction. Seller says it has about 170 K miles and a good car-fax (for what that's worth). His asking price of $6000 seems a little high. Body looked solid, a few hail dents and door dings, and some peeling clear coat on the rear bumper and trunk area. Some obvious wear on drivers seat. If any one wants me to find out more (Like name and phone number), let me know and I will try get the sellers info. ( I guess I could have gotten a card, but he didn't offer one and I didn't ask for one)

Well the car here sold in about 3 weeks and the guy at the lot claims he got close to $6K. Surprised it moved so quickly. I was thinking of offering 3000 or so once he had it for 80-90 days. To top it off he said "an older gentleman" bought the car. I didn't bother to ask, but assume someone my age.

starting to think I got a bargain at $2500 canadian (2g us) for a car with 75k original (48,000 miles)....and I am butchering it up for a track car.

The one in Nor Cal had a motor swap so the miles weren't original. The car had around 160k so it wasn't that good of a deal..

He left that part out of his ad, now wants a thousand more than in the original listing. Also is in a different city so maybe it got bought by a flipper.
